Power
The Exmark Radius zero-turn lawn mower is armed with a powerful Kawasaki FX921V commercial engine, constructed using premium quality components and materials, offering the highest levels of performance and durability. The FX921V engine brings first-class muscle, major power and commercial-grade strength to these zero-turn lawn mowers. All FX engines are Critical Power SAE-Certified, compact, 90-degree V-twin engines. Every one features hemispherical combustion chambers and overhead V-valve technology that helps ensure low emissions, high power, and smooth operation. This heavy duty air-cooled V-twin 4 cycle engine features three valves per cylinder, a shift-type starter, and metal engine cover.
Power from the 31+hp engine is more than enough for the standard mowing needs of both the consumer and professional, pushing the cutting blades to 18,500 fpm. Add to it, the HydroGear integrated transmissions to get 10mph (16.1 kmph) forward, 0–6.0 mph (9.7kmph) reverse.
Cut Quality
The Radius zero-turn features Exmark’s UltraCut deck and bigger wheels for a clean cut and master stripes. The aggressive Kenda drive tires deliver maximum control, with ground speeds of up to 10mph forward without compromising cut quality or appearance.
Exmark is always improving their cutting decks for the ultimate cut quality because it doesn't matter how much experience you have, if the cut doesn't look good, your business is done. With their UltraCut deck, flow-control baffles accelerate airflow under the deck, so clippings move easily and discharge evenly. They've optimized blade-tip speed to deliver uniform clipping discharge distance and uniformity. A flexible discharge chute reduces impact damage of trees and other obstacles.
The X-series also features Exmark’s patented height of cut system, a user-friendly tool developed for operators to quickly and accurately select the deck height to cut your grass from 1.5" up to 5".

Also, the large pneumatic smooth front tires aid in absorbing some of the shocks on the uneven ground.

Productivity
The Exmark Radius uses fully-welded 2-inch by 3-inch frame tubes, placing major components including the engine, hydro drive, and fuel tank lower, with better mass distribution. With a lower center of gravity, the Radius X Series delivers better hillside traction and stability, with heightened maneuverability.
It also features an 11 gallon gas tank for less time at the fuel pump.
In addition to increased stability, a large gas tank, ample power and blade/cut performance, the Exmark Radius takes productivity to the next level with low-maintenance features such as a built-in jack mount for blade changes, no-tool accessibility to belts, the oil drain, hydraulic filters, and more.
A tools-free removable floorboard eases access to the top-side of the cutting deck, and tool-less removable belt shields provide easier access to belts and spindles. A welded jack receiver on the Radius frame allows for easier service to the bottom-side of the deck when combined with the optional jack.
The UltraCut decks include maintenance-free, sealed-bearing spindle assemblies. This aids in durability, reducing downtime and cost of ownership.
